brought to your place of business, or, have service supplied by a
super-speed wireless circuit, currently 300 Mbps in the standard configuration, that taps into a fiber node in the closest proximity.

Fiber is brought to your location on telephone poles or underground. Telephone pole rights of way require a monthly pole rental that add to the recurring cost. Likewise, placing fiber underground is more labor intensive. A site survey is required so that these costs can be presented for your consideration.

A far less costly solution is to use a wireless link with exceptionally high bandwidth. A significant reason for choosing wireless is the service distance can extend many miles from a fiber node. Homeland Security Wireless, Inc. has pioneered the use of high speed wireless networks spanning distances of up to 30 miles. The limitation in distance is a practical one involving the curvature of the earth and if there are hills that block the wireless transmission. Hence the word "Line-of-Sight" is determined through a site survey.
